The tower of Termes d’Armagnac

The tower of Termes d’Armagnac imposes majestically over the valleys of the rivers Arros and Adour. Guardian of history with the Lords of Armagnac, such as Thibault, loyal companion of Joan of Arc. The tower kindles legends round hidden treasure, and of gigantic tunnels…. The château was built in the middle of the 13th century, and remains one of the most remarkable witnesses to medieval Gascony history.

When you grow up under the eye of the tower of Termes, it starts to be part of you, infilitrates in your DNA, even at the other end of the world you think of it.

Rising to 36 metres, the tower gives access to a platform where you can delight in a view of the Pyrenees…

It is the only medieval site open all year. There are cabaret evenings, theatre, concerts, storytelling, Halloween, Easter egg hunt…. And two major events: the great summer show of July, and in August the unmissable « Medievals », where Termes d’Armagnac transforms into medieval times.

For 2020 : A new welcome centre, the museum renovated, and a permanent jousting stadium with open terracing for 350 spectators.
