Conférence Patrimoine

The Marciac Culture Patrimoine et Tradition (MCPT) association invites Jean-Dominique Lartigue accompanied by Jacques Couzinet for a conference recounting their survey-census on "Moulins de Pardiac - Rivières-Basse". Bread was the staple food of our grandparents, they ate kilos of it every day. The numerous flour mills, both hydraulic and wind, occupied a determining place in the rural economy and the social life of our communes. The Gers archaeological society wanted to carry out a census of all these buildings that existed in the Gers territory. With this book, the authors present the results of the survey for the canton. Free, open to all.
