Festival des fantastiques

Young and old alike, come and enjoy the first Fantastic Festival from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Fantastic Festival, with the theme of ecology, the environment and recycling, brings together various activities for all ages, such as participatory stands, workshops, a competition to create monsters (extraordinary animals) from waste everyday life, debates, walks, etc. Approved by the Region as part of Printemps citoyen, this festival aims to offer another vision of ecology and recycling. The opportunity to put a little fun in this sometimes stressful subject! It will also be an opportunity to taste dishes made only with local and organic products and to discover a juice bar like no other... This 1st festival of the Association "Les Enfants de l'Adour", whose activity main objective is to run the non-contract private school of the same name, as part of the continuity of the school's educational project. The ideas for the festival are developed through discussions with students, parents of students and members of the Association. On the program – Competition to create monsters, that is to say fantastic animals – hence the name of the Festival – made from everyday recyclable waste: one more way to recycle your waste in a way fun, with prizes to be won. – Catering, snack bar and juice bar: with local, organic, or reasoned, artisanal, original, homemade products, vegetarian menu in addition to a traditional menu, all approaching zero waste as much as possible. Bring your cutlery! – The associations that will be present will lead workshops in a friendly atmosphere by promoting intergenerational links and mutual aid with, among others: AEDS = acting together to challenge loneliness (helping isolated, elderly, people in difficulty) will offer a transformation from T-shirt to bag. Pottery Les 3 Petits Pots which will create a very useful object in the garden before your eyes. Artpiculture will offer a demonstration of the creation of solitary bee shelters. Cirque et Campagnie will present a circus show on the theme of ecology. En terre act will lead a storytelling walk around the plants. a demonstration of blacksmithing and/or carving on reclaimed wood. debates around ecology (with children) with the Oasis Adour. a sale of handicrafts, plants. natural makeup (clay). an exhibition of transformed furniture with handmade paintings. introduction to the circus with Circ'Adour.
