MAISON DE L'EAU

Located, as its name suggests, in the Val d'Adour, at the heart of a Natura 2000 area, the Maison de l'Eau is dedicated to informing the public about water-related issues.

In addition to a room housing models and various water-related exhibitions, the 100-hectare natural site is equipped with an educational trail along the banks of the Adour, accessible to adults and children alike.

Open all year round and free of charge, this trail is equipped with educational signposts and observation posts.

You'll discover remarkable environments (alluvial forest, oxbows, former extraction basins, pebble landings) frequented by rare animal species: otters, cistudes (a species of turtle), cordulie à corps fin (a dragonfly);

In July and August, we offer activities to discover the Adour, including kayak outings, guided walks or mountain bike rides, and introductory fishing courses.
