SUNDAY, JULY 21, 3 p.m.: Opening of the Painting and Photography exhibition at the Chapelle Notre Lady of the Cross. MONDAY JULY 22 THE LIVING IN THE HONOR! Why and how does life inspire us in art and artistic creation? What relationship do artists have with the living? How is this special relationship expressed in their commitments, their works and their daily work? This is what we invite you to discover thanks to two essential figures who have united their art with that of the living! 2:30 p.m.: Round table: “The living in the spotlight! » with David Rothenberg and Suzanne Husky, hosted by Françoise Vernet. 5 p.m.: Inauguration, in the presence of elected officials 6 p.m.: APERO-CONCERT, hosted by the O'Pato d'Oc group. O Pato d'Oc (Les Canards d'Occitanie) is an ensemble that revisits the different facets of the Brazilian repertoire: Bossa Nova, Samba, Choro, Forro, popular music. TUESDAY JULY 23 FURTHER INTO THE FOREST A day to collectively question our relationship with trees and the forest, to marvel at the prowess of life, to restore the tree to its rightful place, to discover men and women who inspire, manage and benefit from trees and forests! 9:30 a.m.: Paysages'n Jazz walk, with David Rothenberg and Hervé Covès Let yourself be carried away in music by David Rothenberg, jazz clarinetist who interacts with nightingales and by Hervé Covès of Arbre et Paysage 32 who will tell you that life is beautiful alongside the living. A moment out of time! Places limited to 30 people Price: €5 10 a.m.: Youth activities: To the trees, little citizens with Arbre et Paysage 32 Activities from 6 years old: we will introduce you to the rural trees of our landscapes and their importance for man and nature. biodiversity through numerous games: Elderberry ink drawing, Memory, creation of a colored herbarium, landscape model, plant dyeing… 11:30 a.m.: Dedication by Jacques Tassin at the “La Chouette qui lit” bookstore. 2:30 p.m.: CONFERENCE, by Jacques Tassin, Diane Sorel, Eric Castex, Bruno Sirven, Hervé Covès and the Archimbaud Group During this conference we will freely discuss our relationship with forests and the relationship between man and tree. We will discuss the adaptation of trees and the management of French forests. Finally, we will discover one of the last old beech groves in the company of the one that accompanies and protects it. 5 p.m.: Cinema, Nightingales in Berlin, directed by Ville Tanttu in the presence of David Rothenberg, at Ciné-Jim 32. The film recounts the project of musician David Rothenberg carried out in the city of Berlin, to bring together musicians from all over the world to play with nightingales settling in numbers in the wooded parks. WEDNESDAY JULY 24 AGRICULTURES OF TOMORROW Permaculture, conservation agriculture, forest-garden, market gardening on living soil, regenerative agriculture, syntropic agriculture... what a lovely mishmash of words! Ideas and methods which are so many ways of doing agriculture today but especially tomorrow, with a single watchword: living, living, living! 9:30 a.m.: Walk, Wild and edible plants with Claire Mauquié from the Forêt Gourmande During this walk, you will discover many unusual and delicious plant species and the benefits of wild harvesting! Followed by a tasting of the harvested products. Suggested by Claire Mauquié, trainer in forest garden creation at the Forêt gourmande. THURSDAY JULY 25 AGRICULTURE FOR WOMEN In a vibrant and changing agricultural landscape, the place and role of women has evolved. Driven by a deep quest for autonomy, they forcefully claimed their legitimacy and status. Let's meet these generations of farmers who demonstrate a diversity of professional experiences and chart new paths... 9:30 a.m.: VISIT: Discovery of a Walipini greenhouse at Christian Abadie Location: Meeting at 14 Lieu dit Jacoutet, in Estampes This bioclimatic underground greenhouse concept allows vegetable crops to be grown all year round in unfavorable climatic conditions. What are the special features of this greenhouse? How to install one in your garden? This is what Christian Abadie invites you to discover at his home! 9:30 a.m.: TECHNICAL WORKSHOP, Understanding the state of your hedge to better manage it, proposed by the Adour-Amont joint union, the Gers hunting federation and Arbre et Paysage 32 TECHNICAL WORKSHOP FOR TECHNICIANS, SOCIO-PROFESSIONALS AND FARMERS We Let us look at the hedges of our landscapes in order to perceive the roles and the numerous services that they provide to our territories. We will discuss (simple and) effective management actions and techniques to enable rural hedges to sustainably provide the services they provide. We suggest you discuss it at the foot of the hurdles. 10 a.m.: YOUTH ACTIVITY, Building with raw earth, offered by Pierre & Terre Animation for children aged 6 and over. Come and discover the Earth material in the home in different forms through practical workshops: manufacturing of bricks, cob, rammed earth and coatings. Patter, touch, feel the fabulous power of the earth. Handling guaranteed! 2:30 p.m.: ROUND TABLE, with farmers from the South-West, Sandy Magnoac, Claire Tahon, Aline Signarbieux from ADEAR 40, moderated by Julie Reux. During this round table, three farmers will talk about their profession, their background, and their roles as women in the agricultural sector. An opportunity also to discuss the challenges facing them and their common relationship to the land and agriculture. 5:30 p.m.: CINÉ EXCHANGES, CROQUANTES, directed by Tesslye Lopez and Isabelle Mandin, followed by an exchange with Arbre et Paysage 32 During monthly meetings with Émilie, the facilitator of the Women's Group, the farmers discover themselves. They learn from their differences, train and debate. They draw strength from their shared experiences. Together, they will explore new fields of possibilities, daring to speak out and question an agricultural model that struggles to give them a place that suits them. What if we considered our lifestyles and production from nature's point of view? What relationship do we have with it, what place do we leave for biodiversity? How can we better cohabit and reintegrate living things into our spaces and into our lives? Let's reverse the outlook to better take into account the needs of living things! 9:30 a.m.: BIODIVERSITY WALK, led by the CPIE Pays Gersois The CPIE Pays Gersois invites you for a nature walk to discover the living world. Between buzzing, stridulations or songs... Let's slow down the pace and set out to discover this rich and fascinating world that surrounds us. 10 a.m.: Youth activity: “ALL IN THE WATER” proposed by the Maison de l'Eau Water has always been an essential resource for man, more than ever coveted, exploited, surprising and fun. Discover, through games and small experiments, how a river works, the role of water for biodiversity… 2:30 p.m.: Conference, GET NATURE! with Véronique Mure, Marc-André Selosse (via video) and François Lasserre This conference will be an opportunity to take a step aside to rethink and understand what living things need to express themselves and to imagine better cohabitation between man and the species around him. Marc André Selosse invites us to review our representation of the world and to reconnect with nature, by observing living things and deconstructing prejudices. Véronique Mure will highlight the challenges of trees in urban areas and invites us to think about our arrangements to provide better reception conditions for trees in our public places. Finally, François Lasserre will deconstruct preconceived ideas about insects and discuss our relationship with these animals. Between false ideas, beliefs and apprehension, we have a lot to learn from these essential allies. Don't miss this opportunity to discuss, question and imagine better coexistence with living things! 6 p.m.: ENERGY MANIFESTO SHOW FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE GARDEN, proposed by the Auberge des poetes Location: Shared garden Collemboles, route. deJuillac, 32230 Marciac Le Manifeste Enervé du Fond du Jardin, staged by L'auberge des Poètes, is an eco-poetic monologue that does not mince its words. The text, lively and tasty, is punctuated by the organized chaos of a drum. SATURDAY JULY 27 GREEN IN THE CITY A true urban lung, plants offer numerous benefits and services both for residents, who find freshness and well-being there, and for biodiversity. Taking a new look at these spaces and integrating plants through thoughtful and alternative developments allows us to respond locally and sustainably to the resilience of territories! 9:30 a.m.: WALK, LET'S TAKE SOME SEED, hosted by Lily Castay from Arbre et Paysage 32 The journey of a seed is a real adventure: in the air, along the water or even catapulted... During a walk around Marciac, you will learn to recognize the seeds of the surrounding trees and the strategies that plants have developed to spread the seeds while remaining still! 2:30 p.m.: CONFERENCE, GREEN IN THE CITY with Véronique Mure, CAUE 32, Philippe Benoit, Baptiste Wullschleger and Bruno Sirven The round table will be moderated by Lucie Charles (from CAUE 47 and administrator of Arbre et Paysage 32) and Bruno Sirven d 'Tree and Landscape 32. The conference will propose simple, proven and generalizable principles around plant engineering and green development in urbanized spaces (squares, streets, gardens, etc.). Particular importance will be given to the way of thinking about plant development and the planting of plants and trees in urban spaces. Finally, let's explore together ways to transform our conception of the city and the wild! Discover methods, exchange ideas, catalyze good practices and share experiences in order to act for areas where life is good, thanks to plants! Véronique Mure will open the afternoon by proposing a reflection on how to develop urban spaces by qualifying the biodiversity potential of these spaces. CAUE 32 will present concrete examples of development implemented in the region. Finally, Philippe Benoit and Baptiste Wullschleger will develop their wild vision of territorial policies and urban spaces necessary to fight the climate crisis. 5 p.m.: CINÉ EXCHANGE, “LIVING WITH WOLVES” by Jean-Michel Bertrand followed by an exchange with the Ferus and Pays de l’ours associations – ADET Location: Ciné Jim Marciac, 21 Place du Chevalier Antras in Marciac The director speaks to us of the wolf in a completely new and unexpected way. There will soon be wolves almost everywhere in France. We must therefore learn to “live with the wolves”.
