Théâtre à la Tour

Maistre Pathelin is a play written in the late Middle Ages, around 1456-1460. Considered one of the first and best masterpieces of medieval comic theater, this play is often recognized as the first comedy of the French literature. Founded in 1989, the Troupe du Théâtre des Loges set up shop in Pantin, in a former washhouse on the outskirts of Paris. An incredible luxury for a traveling troupe! Every summer the troupe travels to Louvie Juzon at the gates of the Ossau valley in the Pyrenees to play in the barns, in the market halls, in the courtyard of a castle... This year it will also pass through Termes d'Armagnac to defend a clear, jubilant, demanding and popular theater. Two performances are planned: 07/20 at 9 p.m. and 07/21 at 4:30 p.m.
