Initiatory journey to the sounds of Indian Sitar and Tempura. Théo Thomas, accompanied by his wife Valérie at the tampura, studied the Indian sitar with Narendra Bataju, a disciple of the famous Pandit Ravi Shankar. For several years Théo has played with many musicians, he is passionate about traditional instruments and music, which gives him an openness and musical inspiration to the world. The sitar is a plucked string instrument originating from northern India. The tampura is an instrument with four or five strings, it produces a harmonic drone that accompanies Indian music. This concert will take place in a form of sound and vibration relaxation, so we invite you to take a plaid and a cushion for your comfort.
